The cumulative production of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs)
under the Department of Heavy Industry during the year 2012-13 has been
to the tune of Rs. 56,506.25 crore as against Rs. 56,009.39 crore during
the year 2011-12. Giving this information in written reply to a
question in Lok Sabha, Shri Praful Patel, Minister of Heavy Industries
& Public Enterprises, said that the mechanism of monthly reports and
periodic review meetings for regular monitoring of performance of CPSEs
under the Department is in place.
