Delhi gang rape: Court to start hearing against five accused


New Delhi:(Page3 News Network)-The newly set up fast track court at Saket in Delhi will today take cognizance of the charge sheet filed against five accused of the murder and gang rape of a 23-year-old medical student in the national capital. 
As reported, Delhi Police on Thursday filed the 33-page charge sheet along with enclosures in the Saket metropolitan magistrate court against the five of the six accused arrested in the case. The charge sheet slapps on them charges, including murder, gang rape, attempt to murder, kidnapping, unnatural offences, dacoity, hurting in committing robbery, destruction of evidence and criminal conspiracy. The case has now been shifted to the fast track court. The five accused in the case named in the charge sheet are Ram Singh, his brother Mukesh and their accomplices Pawan Gupta, Vinay Sharma and Akshay Thakur. The sixth accused is a juvenile and proceedings against him will be conducted by the Juvenile Justice Board.
