Cuban cyclists to participate in Pan-Am championship in Mexico


Havana, April 23 (IANS) Cuba will participate in the Pan-American Route Cycling Championship in Mexico to be held from May 1 to 5.

A five-member Cuban cycling team will leave next Friday, the Cuban National Information Agency said, reports Xinhua.

The team has three male competitors -- Arnold Alcolea, Yasmani Martinez and Jans Carlos Arias -- and two female cyclists -- Arlenys Sierra and Marlies Mejias -- to represent Cuba.
