CM holds Janta Milan in Khatima


 Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna today held a Janta Milan programme in Khatima Development Block. He said all complaints of people should be resolved within 30 days and they should be informed.

    The CM said that the government was committed  to the welfare of farmers and labourers . He said the wages of labourers had been increased and paying the support sugarcane price to sugarcane farmers was a priority of the government.

               He said Rs.5 Crore would be given for roads in Khatima, Sanjay Park will be beautified , Khatima bypass will be constructed ,Khatima sports stadium and Khatima bus stop would be constructed.He said Sidcul Phase two in Sitarganj would provide employment to local people.An investment of Rs.1000 crore had been made there .He said the condition of electricity would improve once small hydropower projects were completed in 3-4 months.

       He gave cycles to 946 girl students under Balika Shiksha Ptotsahan Yojn  and NSCs of Rs.25000 each to 7 girls under the Kanyadhan yojna. He gave Rs.4800 each to 12 beneficiaries and Rs.4800 to an elderly person.

    The Cm gave Rs.199.55 lakh for reconstruction of Chhatrapur Nagwanath bagiaghat route. He heard 236 complaints at the programme.


Present were MLA P.S.Dhami, Dr.P.S.Rana, N.S.Bisht, Jayanti Chandra , Suraiya Begum, DM B.K.Sant, SSP R.Agarwal ,CDO D.S.Garbyal and ADM H.Verma.
