New Delhi:(Page3 News Network)-BJP has demanded an investigation into the alleged spending in India by the global retail giant Walmart for lobbying. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today, party Spokesman Ravi Shanker Prasad, quoting media reports, said the retail giant had spent 125 crore rupees in India for lobbing since 2008. Mr Prasad said the Prime Minister should clarify on the issue. The BJP leader said Walmart should not be allowed to open its shop in India till the investigation is complete.
On the question of reservation in promotion for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in government jobs, Mr Prasad said BJP has always advocated for social Justice and benefits subject to constitutional parameters.
