K’taka CM sacks Cooperative Minister Puttaswamy, MP Basavaraj suspended


Benglore:(Page3 News Network)-Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar has sacked Cooperative Minister B J Puttaswamy, a Yeddyurappa loyalists from the cabinet. Cracking the whip against B S Yeddyurappa loyalists, BJP has also suspended his staunch supporter and Tumkur MP G S Basavaraj from the party. The party has issued show cause notices to both Puttaswamy and Basavaraj.The suspension comes ahead of the launch of Yeddyurappa's Karnataka Janata Party at Haveri tomorrow. Yeddyurappa has claimed the support of over 30 BJP legislators and ministers.
Shettar told reporters that as a disciplinary measure, Puttaswamy has been dropped from the cabinet.

Karnataka Governor H R Bharadwaj has accepted the request of Chief Minister to drop Puttaswamy from the cabinet with immediate effect.
