Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna on Sunday
paid rich tributes to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister, on the
eve of his death anniversary.
Portraying him as the harbinger of
world peace CM said Nehruji’s contribution to building modern India is
unforgettable.
He said his contribution in the freedom struggle will remain
etched in letters of gold in Indian history. He said his initiative to industrialize
the country and create job opportunities was admirable.
“We must follow the path of progress shown by
Nehru ji and create a strong nation,” he said.
