Kumari Selja Releases "Samajik Nyay Sandesh"

The Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment Kumari Selja while releasing the monthly magazine "Samajik Nyay Sandesh" published by Dr. Ambedkar Foundation here today said that Dr. Ambedkar has an extremely important place in the history of India. His immense contribution in the drafting of Indian Constitution is widely acclaimed. Babasaheb was a true nationalist who believed in overall welfare of all the sections of the society and the establishment of a just society and this magazine will carry further the ideology and message of Babasaheb among the masses.

Dr. Ambedkar Foundation monthly magazine ‘Samajik Nyay Sandesh’ was first published in December 2002. This magazine has been revived adorning a new look with the objective of carrying out Dr. Ambedkar's ideology.

Dr. Ambedkar Foundation was established by the Government of India under the aegis of the Ministry of Welfare (now Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) on March 24, 1992 as a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

The Foundation has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing administering and carrying on the important and long-term schemes and programmes identified during the Centenary Celebrations of Bharat Ratna Dr B.R. Ambedkar.

Present on the occasion were Shri Sudhir Bhargava, Secretary, Shri Anoop Kumar Srivastava, Additional Secretary, Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Joint Secretary and Member Secretary, Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, Shri Viney Kumar Paul, Director, Dr. Ambedkar Foundation.
